The Gestalt House Today
At first sight, it answered all of the needs and desires in offering a safe and homey space for people to come and heal. Walking through the front door offered a peacefulness that is rare in today’s climate. It offered an aged beauty that was beyond words and surprises that still floor me. The words “move-in ready” came to mind. Maybe a wall painted here or there and done, open the doors and let its light shine.
This house became a metaphor for my work, my life, and my passion. My “move-in ready” evolved into seeing, finding, fixing, and strengthening. I never imagined that I would Gestalt a house, but that is what happened.
I saw the things that needed to be fixed and fixed them. I found the weaknesses in the foundation and structure and strengthened them. This house needed to be healed and strengthened so it could provide the safe sanctuary of love, compassion, and healing.
This house represents life. We may look or feel broken, but in reality, we are whole beautiful beings that only need help in finding the parts that need healing and strengthening.
It has been a labor of love.
Welcome to The Gestalt House, a place that offers a caring sanctuary for your self-care, whether that be externally, internally, emotionally, or spiritually.
