Pre-Care Avoid doing anything that will irritate your skin immediately prior to your appointment: sunbathing - abrasive cleansers and exfoliators - dermaplaning etc. Drink at least 2 liters of water at least 1-2 days prior to your session. This will assist the body in flushing toxins. Do not eat 2 hours prior to your scheduled session. Do not drink alcohol the day of your session. Gently wash the treatment area, not scrubs or vigorous rubbing. Wear loose fitting clothing. We want to make sure that your experience with us is indeed inspiring. Please be mindful of our criteria below before arriving at your session to avoid any complications. Your session will be rescheduled if any of these apply: You are under the influence of alcohol or a recreational drug. Waxing of treatment area less than 1 week ago. Chemical or laser treatments on the treatment area less than 2 weeks ago. Surgery around the treatment area less than 6 months ago. After Care After treatment avoid irritating your skin as mentioned above for at least 3 days after treatment. Be sure to keep your skin moisturized and use sunscreen. Drink a minimum of 2 liters of water a day to help your body flush out the broken-down fat cells. Do not take a hot shower, sit in a spa, sauna, or hot tub for at least 24 hours. Be sure to do some light exercise (such as brisk walking) for 20 minutes minimum following the treatment to stimulate lymph movement. Rare Side Effects
