JOB oVERVIEW
Inspired Offerings Spa is seeking a Licensed Massage Therapist or Licensed Esthetician who brings skill, professionalism, and a grounded, client centered presence. Our environment is calm, attuned, and intentionally designed to support both practitioner autonomy and client wellbeing.
We’re looking for practitioners who understand that clients return because of the relationship they build with the person in the room. Those who feel comfortable being visible, sharing their work, and staying connected with their community tend to find a natural sense of flow here. This role is ideal for someone who values independence, emotional safety, and a workplace that honors both craft and boundaries. As an Inspired Specialist, you’ll offer attuned bodywork in a supportive, calm environment where clarity and the client experience come first.

This is a commission only position. Commission is based on the dollar amount of each session, and practitioners keep all tips. A 30-day sliding commission scale rewards higher monthly service volume with increased commission rates.

Responsibilities
- Provide customized massage or esthetic sessions using modalities within your scope of practice (e.g., Swedish, deep tissue, prenatal, myofascial, buccal, gua sha, etc.).
- Conduct thorough client assessments to understand individual health histories, symptoms, and goals.
- Educate clients on self-care practices and strategies to maintain long-term wellness.
- Maintain detailed records of treatments provided, client progress, and session notes.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and relaxing environment by adhering to sanitation standards and safety protocols.
- Provide an excellent client experience by listening attentively, answering questions clearly, and fostering a positive client experience.
- Create a grounded, emotionally safe session environment through clear communication and professional boundaries.
- Professional Growth and Cultivation - Attend at least one professional networking a week and collaborated social media posts twice a week.
- Attend and work scheduled marketing events to promote the services at the spa.
Requirements
- Active Missouri LMT or Esthetician license in good standing and professional insurance.
- At least 1 year of experience preferred but not required for the right candidate.
- LMT - Expertise in relaxation, therapeutic, deep tissue massage, and additional modalities a plus.
- LMT - Solid understanding of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy.
- Esthetician - Expertise in facials, skincare analysis, and additional modalities techniques a plus.
- Esthetician – Strong understanding of skin physiology, product knowledge, and a commitment to holistic, clean skincare without harsh chemical formulations.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Reliability, punctuality, and respect for shared space.

Independent Contractor (LMTs, Estheticians, or spa related professions)
The Gestalt House is hiring independent contractors for massage therapy, esthetics, and other spa‑aligned professions. Practitioners who work with presence, professionalism, and respect for the client experience are encouraged to apply. This is a 1099 contractor role. You run your own business. We provide the environment, systems, and support that allow you to focus on your work and not all of the overhead of running a business.
